New AirPod Pros, when? They may be months away from existence, but the documentation circulating through the US patent offices reveals that Apple cooks something for their high quality headphones. And unlike the last major upgrade, it is not just exchanging the Lightning port for USB-C.
The US patent and brand office (USPTO) gave Apple a patent. According to Patent apple-Long, hereditary reader-apple filed a patent for possible future airpods with “textual external surface for input” and “textured external surface” to control functions on another device. The textured outer surface is multi-directional and can accept input commands, including slippery gestures. The controls would probably respond to adjusting the volume, answer phone calls, stop or start a song, and all the other audio features you would like to cycle without a screen.
The patent also shows a new exit for the AirPods Pro, which helps minimize wind noise and determine if the Airpod is appropriate to actively cancellation of noise. It could relate to something that the patent calls a “ear suitable process.” I wouldn’t surprise myself if Apple came out of the gate with a new ANC caliber technology when it launches the AirPods Pro 3. It has already shown us what it could do with the current generation AirPods Pro 2 when it added the Audience function along with the launch of the iPhone 16.
It is a speculation that these new gestures and tempo parts of the AirPod Pros will help those users intermingled in increased reality (or maybe even Reality reality). That’s because other rumors gathered about the Airpods due to having cameras entered in for space awareness. It arose in a Bloomberg Newsletter A few weeks ago after mentioning “camera-equipped AirPods” was on the way.
