“Today’s visit to Washington DC is the latest step in our pragmatic and positive commitment with the new administration to agree to a broader economic agreement in both interests,” said Reynolds in a statement.
The United States is the British largest country trade partner with over 1.2 trillion GBP (1.5 trillion US dollars) in the other of the other.
Great Britain had hoped to sign a free trade agreement with the United States when he left the European Union, but quickly collapsed.

Great Britain exports around 10 percent of its steel to the USA, worth almost £ 400 in 2023.
After Trump’s announcement of 25 percent taxes in the past month, Great Britain reacted with the unveiling of a multibillion pound plan to protect its steel industry.
