In the May 15 order, Judge Steven Hippler said the person involved in the case “probably” committed the order of interception, saying law enforcement could be the source of the leak. He ordered anyone working on the defense team or investigating to retain all communications and data related to the case.
Shippler said the following evidence was revealed in this episode:
- Surveillance footage of “Suspicious Vehicle No. 1”
- Kohberger’s AT&T record
- Contents of Kohberger phones
- Photos and information related to Kohberger’s Amazon account
“This violation not only undermines the possibility of the person responsible for maintaining it, but it can also greatly hinder the ability to place a fair jury and could significantly increase the costs borne by Lata County taxpayers to prosecute the case to extend the time for jury and potential jury.
Tara Jalali Malek, an Idaho-based attorney and former U.S. attorney, told Fox News numbers that Shippler could put the prosecution or the defense team in charge if the leak was found to be from them.

“Break violations of the court orders can be stopped,” Manick said. “It may be a contempt for the court, and contempt for the court may be a contempt for civil or a contempt for crime. It will be completely separated from what will happen in the trial, but the thing you despise is that you may condemn. For example, there may be all kinds of things that can do anything.
She added: “Anyone who violates the order will be despised in any aspect.”

As the trial begins on August 11, another surprising witness appears.
A woman who claimed to be a Doordash driver said she put down food for Xana kernodle minutes before Kohberger allegedly killed college students. YouTube account Axon officer Axon obtained a woman’s body camera video, and the driver’s seat was exposed.
“I have to testify in a big murder here…because I’m a Doordash driver, so yes,” she said. In the video.
The officer then asked her what case she wanted to testify in.
“Murder with the female college student,” she said. “I’m the driver of Doordash. I saw Brian there. I stopped beside him.”
