When setting up the box, you need to upload multiple pictures of your cat (s) from various corners to help the camera learn which cat is. Later, the box software will determine and log in when your cat (s) appeared at the box if they used it, and for how long. With the app, you can monitor the use of each individual cat and see what bathroom visit they had. Clover, my female cat, used the litter about twice as often as her brother, Basil, who usually only visits twice a day.
Being able to track this is very helpful because male cats are more susceptible to Utiswhich can be potentially life -threatening. The connected app -logs on usage and allows you to review camera images, so you can review whether something is good or if your cat is less going to the bathroom. Additionally, the camera is on a rotating arm outside the hole, so you can move the camera to a pan to the outside or inside the box. It basically doubles as pet Or Security camera for whatever room it is.
This is one of the most expensive automatic litters on the market, but it is a great tool to be able to closely monitor the use of your cats and more easily and quickly identify potential health problems – not to mention is much cheaper and less traumatic to emergency visit to the vet. And now at $ 750, this update is the lowest price we will probably see this year (or at least until Black Friday).
I tested half a dozen other Petkit products, as Water fountains,, Automatic eatersand another Automatic littersAnd they were all really solid. My only thing is that the app could be a bit softer, and sometimes the English translation of things can be a bit turned off. Petkit fountains are a great way to get chronically unprofit cats to drink more water. (Both models above are discounted for Amazon Prime Day Too.) I constantly impressed it, and my runner -up for Automatic litters (also below) is the litter I recommended for most people – it’s $ 200 off now.
