
Trump administration A post on social media on Sunday focused on the “worst criminals” arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since President Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States last week.
“Under President Trump’s leadership, ICE agents are working tirelessly to protect our communities. From illegal alien child rapists to gang members and individuals suspected of ties to ISIS, here are some of the worst offenders arrested ,” the White House X post read.
The post shows nine different illegal immigrants who have been convicted of serious crimes such as child rape, or have alleged links to gangs and terrorist organizations and other serious crimes. The nine illegal immigrants highlighted in the post include their photos and brief biographies explaining their crimes.

Another explained: “Make America safe again :A Mexican national wanted On January 24, 2025, Los Angeles ICE arrested an Interpol Red Notice suspect suspected of murder. “
Another post read: “Make America Safe Again: A Jordanian national with alleged ties to ISIS was arrested by ICE Buffalo/Rouses Point on January 24, 2025.”

Trump’s 2024 campaign has focused on the immigration crisis under the Biden administration and vowed to deport illegal immigrants, including those with long criminal records in other countries, cartel members and others suspected of ties to terrorism .

Since Trump’s first day in office on January 20, law enforcement agencies from ICE to the DEA and the U.S. Marshals Service have been engaged in a high-profile blitz. On Thursday night, the Trump administration authorized thousands of federal agents to assist agencies including ICE and the U.S. Marshals Service. Customs and Border Protection works to apprehend illegal immigrants.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reported that law enforcement across the country arrested more than 500 illegal immigrants and deported hundreds more on Thursday alone.
