Vivek Ramaswamy Sources at Fox News confirmed that his 2026 Ohio governor campaign will be launched within a week.
The multimillionaire biotech entrepreneur went from vision to a contender for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, then quit 13 months ago as the top supporter and agent nowPresident Donald Trumpwill announce his candidacy on February 24 in his hometown of Cincinnati.
Ramaswamy will take over his campaign at Cintl Aerospace in Cintl Aerospace – in a race to replace Republican Gov. Mike Dewine, who is restricted in office. The Associated Press reported the news for the first time.

The candidates are expected to stop in the Columbus, Toledo and Cleveland areas over the next two days.
Ramaswamy, 39, launched his presidential campaign in February 2023 and quickly saw his stock rise.

Ramaswamy’s comments criticized American culture, saying “respecting mediocrity vs excellence” has gained a lot of push from some leadership voices on the right and some voices in Trump’s political circles.

Ramaswamy was raised by her parents who immigrated from India in Evendale, Ohio. His father worked as an engineer at GE Aviation and his mother was an elderly psychiatrist. Ramaswamy and his family currently live in the suburbs of Columbus.
The imminent candidate filed documents with the Ohio Secretary of State’s office on Friday before the campaign was launched.
