Trump puts pressure commanderand the Guardian of Cleveland, Sunday – calling on two organizations in two posts about truth socialization.
“My statements to the Washington Redskins were completely blown up, but there was only one very positive way,” Trump wrote in a second Truth Society post. “I might impose restrictions on them if they don’t change the name back to the original ‘Washington Redskins’ and get rid of the ridiculous nickname, ‘Washington Commander,’ I won’t build a stadium for them in Washington. The team will be more valuable and more exciting for everyone.”

The president added that the guardian should follow suit.
“Cleveland should do the same thing with the Cleveland Indians. Matt Dolan, the owner of the Cleveland baseball team, is very politicized and has three consecutive elections due to this ridiculous name change.” “What he doesn’t understand is that if he changes his name to the Cleveland Indian, he might actually win the election. The Indians are treated very unfairly. Make the Indians great again (Miga)!”
Paul Dolan is the team owner. Matt Dolan owns a minority stake in the organization.

Trump initially asked the team to change its name earlier Sunday.
“Washington’s ‘what’s’ should immediately change their name back to the Washington Redskin Football Team. That’s a lot of blame for that,” Trump wrote in Sunday’s Truth Social. “Similarly, the Cleveland Indians are one of six original baseball teams with a legendary past.
“We are great Indian people, and there are many people who want this to happen. Their legacy and reputation are being taken away systematically. Now, the times are different from those three to four years ago. We are a country full of passion and common sense. Owner, owner, finish it!!!”
Guardian President Chris Antonetti responded to Trump’s pressure in mid-afternoon. That’s not actually what the organization thinks, he said.

“But I generally know that the decisions we made a few years ago had very different perspectives,” he said. via cleveland.com. “Obviously, this is the decision we have made, and over the past four years we have had the opportunity to be guardians and be excited about the future.”
The Guardian has no other comments on Trump’s post.
When the RFK Stadium website was announced, Josh Harris, the boss of the Commander Team, joined Trump Mayor Muriel Bowser and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in the Oval Office.
Congressmen support Harris’ return to the old stadium ruins on condition that the team and the NFL will commemorate the old red-skin logo. Senator Steve Daines, R-Mont. Said in November The organization’s plans will be supported after “integrity negotiations” with both entities.
“We are calling on leaders just in case, wake up,” Daines said at the time. “Ironically, they are canceling Native American culture because the Day movement went too far. It is respect for a Montana-born Blackfit Chief. His current chairman and the Tribal Council of Montana-Black’s tribe signed a letter with strong support to bring the logo.
“We had a good discussion with the NFL and the Commander. Future negotiations are sincere and this will allow the logo to be used again. Perhaps the revenue will be a foundation that can help Native Americans in sports and other aspects. We have made good progress and based on good faith negotiations, I made the decision to support this bill on the committee yesterday.”
But Harris made it clear in an interview with Fox News “Special Report” There is no plan to bring back the Redskins name.

“And, you know, the business people have entered it, obviously, we’re in the military city here. There are more military people than anywhere else, so we kind of move forward in the name of the commander and get excited about it, not looking back.”
