
US President Donald Trump Plan to launch a new political party.
“I think it’s ridiculous to start a third party,” Trump told reporters before boarding Air Force One on July 6. “This has always been a two-party system, and I think it’s just adding to the confusion at the beginning of the third party.”
After weeks of ridicule about the idea, Musk posted on X over the weekend that he formed the American Party to compete with the Republican and Democrats.
Trump and Musk were close before Allies, Tesla bosses lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), whose mission is to help cut federal spending.
Trump also posted on his Truth Social Platform on Sunday: “I’m sorry to watch Elon Musk completely ‘off the track,’ essentially becoming a train wreck for the past five weeks.”
The position aims at Musk’s Promoting “Electric Vehicle (EV) Authorization” says that it will “force everyone to buy electric vehicles in a short time.”
The President’s Tax and expenditure plansHe signed the law on July 4 to end tax breaks on electric vehicles.
He added that he opposed Musk’s proposed EV mission from the outset, explaining the reasons for omitting such vehicles in legislation.
“People are now allowed to buy whatever they want – gasoline-powered, hybrid (does well) or new technology will produce – no longer have EV licenses.”
The legislation includes increased spending on border security, defense and energy production, offset by controversial health care and food support programs.
Musk repeatedly criticized his spending plans for his thoughts surfaced online during his public argument with Trump.
