President Donald Trump Celebrating the retirement announcement of one of the two Republicans, they voted against his “big and beautiful Bill.”
Trump wrote in a post about the Truth Society: “Good news!
“Everyone Cost cuts Republicans, I’m one of them, remember that you still have to be elected. Don’t be too crazy! As time goes by, we will work harder than ever. ” he continued in another post.
this North Carolina Republicans announced Sunday that he would not seek reelection in the 2026 cycle. Tillis will be one of the most vulnerable Republicans next year. He faces threats from Trump to challengers after a vote on the presidential agenda Saturday night.

Legislators voted against the bill, and could vote against it eventually, as huge Medicaid cuts, a massive bill would change Medicaid provider tax rates.

Tillis opposes the slow death of bipartisan cooperation in Washington in a statement.
“In the past few years, it has become increasingly obvious in Washington that leaders willing to accept a two-party system, compromise and demonstrate independent thinking are becoming an endangered species,” he said.

His announcement also came as Trump spent most of his time on Saturday night using Tillis as a “parkman” and vowed to interview potential major challengers, and the vice president made the announcement. “Many people stood up and wanted to fight in the primary election’ Senator Tom Tillis,” Trump said in The Society of Truth. “I will meet with them in the next few weeks in search of someone who will properly represent the great people of North Carolina, so, importantly, the United States of America. Thank you for your attention on this matter!”
