The US Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) recently revised its athlete safety policy to recommend compliance with Trump’s executive order to “release men from women’s movement.”
The policy reads: “USOPC will continue to work with various stakeholders and bear supervisory responsibilities … to ensure that women have a level and safe playing field consistent with the Executive Order 14201.”
Trump said Tuesday he believes USOPC will change its previous policy to allow biological men to compete in women’s competitions even if he did not return to the office and signed an executive order.
“I think they might have it,” Trump said.
Trump was also asked if he believes the current policy will remain in place after he leaves the office.
“It’s possible. If you really want to know the truth, you can do either way,” Trump said. “I feel strong about it. I’ve at least had a campaign on that. It’s one of the many issues I’ve talked about… It’s certainly one of those issues.”

Since the signing of Trump’s executive order, many women’s sports rights activists have actively called for mandatory sexual testing in Olympic and NCAA women’s competition.
The Independent Women’s Sports Commission (ICONS), an advocacy group representing multiple female activists and athletes, issued a statement on July 22 calling for mandatory screening of all female athletes approved by the USOPC after the policy changes are promoted.
“The next critical step is the USOPC implementing a sexual screening protocol. This will ensure that women get equal, fair, and safe opportunities in sports competitions. The idol can rest until every girl in each sports has access to fair competition and privacy in the locker room,” the statement said.
“The United States has the opportunity to be a leader in the treatment of women around the world.”
Women fencing Stephanie TurneR knelt down to protest the virus’s cross-opponent in April, and she drew attention to USOPC policy, and he also called for testing.

“You can’t rely on documentation anymore. You can’t rely on a driver’s license, you can’t rely on a birth certificate because these can be edited.”
Former American female gymnast Dee Worley She also told Fox News numbers that she believes testing should be conducted to protect female competitors.
Wally said she did not believe any momentum would be achieved on the issue until the mandatory screening was implemented.
