president Donald Trump An illegal immigrant in New York City allegedly shot and killed an illegal immigrant after former President Joe Biden was criticized.
“Last night, in New York City, an incredible CBP officer was shot dead by an illegal alien monster in the country under Joe Biden,” Trump wrote in a social outpost on Sunday. “He was arrested at the border in April 2023 but was not deported, but released.”
The suspect was identified by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as 21-year-old Dominican national Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez. DHS confirmed that Nunez was arrested by the Border Patrol near St. Louis, Arizona in April 2023 but was released to the United States by the Biden administration.
The agency also told Fox News that Nunes had an active arrest warrant Massachusetts, In addition to previous felony arrests. In a press conference on Sunday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said Nunez was arrested in advance for assault and breach of protection orders. Nunez also received an active backup order from the Bronx and was wanted for a robbery in December and started stabbing since January, Adams said.

“Democrats have flooded our country with criminal invaders, and now, they all have to be thrown away, or prosecuted immediately in some cases because we can’t seize the opportunity they can come back,” Trump added. “That’s their evil and danger!”
Nunez was riding in a motor scooter with another suspect and attempted to rob CBP officials while sitting in Riverside Park on Saturday night.

The unidentified officer pulled out his gun to defend himself. Police said both officers and Nunez were shot and killed several times. Police said Nunez walked into a regional hospital after the shooting. The official is expected to recover from his injuries.
Trump added that the off-duty officials “had bravely escaped the attacker despite their injuries and showed great skill and courage.”

Adams said Nunez was detained.
“He caused violence in our city and once he was charged with last night’s crime, we will be able to add attempted murders to his rap list,” Adams said.
The Department of Homeland Security has filed a detention against Nunez.
