President Donald Trump joked about the fate of Iranian officials on Friday morning, according to CNN’s Dana Bash.

Israel attacked Iran’s nuclear and missile infrastructure earlier on Friday, withdrew at least 20 senior Iranian commanders and dealt a major blow to Tehran’s administration after months of negotiations between the United States and Iran. Two of the most outstanding officials Hossein Salami, leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Defender (IRGC), and General Mohammad Bagheri, chief of staff of the Iranian armed forces.

“Obviously, we certainly support Israel and support it like no one supports it,” Trump said. “It was a very successful attack. When I said it, Iran should listen to me – I know, I gave them, I don’t know if you know, but I gave them a 60-day warning. Today is day 61.”

“They should Come to the table to make a deal It’s too late. It was too late for them. You know, the person I’m dealing with is dead.

“Is this the result of last night’s attack?” Bash asked him.

“Yes. They didn’t die from the flu. They didn’t die from Kuvid,” Bash said, “sarcastically.”
