Axios reported on Monday that President Donald Trump will urge illegal immigrants to use the newly announced app of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Trump will send a message in a video posted on social media platforms this week calling on illegal immigrants to use the CBP home app to announce their departure from the country. DHS Revealed the app Earlier this month, the app allowed immigrants to enter the U.S. after removing a Biden-era CBP app
“It’s not pleasant to have people in our country that can deceive themselves in a simple way, or they can be deported in a difficult way,” Trump said in the video.
He continued: “The Biden administration has used the CBP One app to allow over 1 million aliens to enter the United States illegally. Now, my administration is launching the CBP home app to make people in our country illegally provide an easy way to leave now, voluntarily.”

“If they do this, they will have a chance to return legally at some point in the future, but if they are against this opportunity, they will be found out. They will be deported and will never be accepted into the United States again,” Trump added.
Trump continued to say that using the CBP home app is the “safetest option” for illegal immigration and law enforcement, in addition to allowing law enforcement to focus resources on arresting and deporting illegal immigrants convicted of violent crimes.
The CBP Home app allows illegal immigrants to “submit intentions to leave” and submit information about their intentions to leave the United States, which can also provide information to verify their departure from the United States, a feature limited to those who use the Biden-era app to parole them.
