House Rules Committee has strengthened president Donald Trump’s After nearly 12 hours of conference debate, the “Big and Beautiful Bill” held a House vote on Wednesday.
Now it heads to the entire chamber for consideration, with several Republicans already saying they are concerned about various aspects of the measure.
Only two Republicans opposed reporting the bill to the committee – Rep. Ralph Norman, RS.C. and Chip Roy, R-Texas, conservatives, who earlier Tuesday expressed reservations to the bill. No Democrats voted early, while the remaining seven Republicans voted.
However, most Republican lawmakers seem ready to introduce the bill, but think it is the best compromise tool to make Trump’s campaign promise a reality.

House Republican leaders said in a joint statement after the Senate passed Tuesday: “The bill is President Trump’s agenda and we are making laws. House Republicans are ready to finish the job and put one of the most beautiful bills on President Trump’s desk and send it to Independence Day in time.”
The House Rules Committee acts as the ultimate gatekeeper before most legislation conducts House-wide votes.
Democrats are trying to postpone the panel’s long hearing by providing multiple amendments along the party’s shooting down.
They criticized the bill as a huge tax relief gift for wealthy Americans, sacrificing Medicaid coverage for low-income people. Democrats also accused Republicans of adding billions to Treasury debt, mainly by extending Trump’s 2017 tax cuts.
“I don’t know what it means to be the Fiscal Eagles because if you vote for the bill, you’re adding $4 trillion to your debt,” Rep. Gwen Moore said in the measure.
“Republicans have been on TV for months and months, solemnly adhering to the American people, that the bill would cut debts, and that wouldn’t hurt anyone who is Medicaid, only those lazy, and you know, those who are not worth it.”

But Republicans say the bill is a relief for middle- and working-class Americans, citing temporary permission to deduct taxes, etc. from tilts and overtime wages.

The bill count exceeds 900 pages, which include Trump’s priorities on borders, defense, energy and Treasury bonds.
The original version passed the House by one vote in May, but the Senate has since made several key changes to Medicaid, tax cuts and debt restrictions.
Moderate parties stay alert about Senate measures that will shift more Medicaid costs to states that expand plans under Obamacare, while conservatives say These cuts are not enough to offset additional expenditures in other parts of the bill.
During the “Byrd Bath,” several key measures were also removed during the Senate review of legislation so that standards could be quickly carried out during the budget settlement process – a strict set of fiscal rules must be followed.

Any changes in legislation will force it back into the Senate, which could delay the July 4 deadline for Republican self-implementation to deliver the bill to Trump’s desk.
The whole house is expected to consider the bill starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Sometime that morning, House members will be on whether to start debate on the bill, a procedural measure known as “rule voting.”
If this is cleared, a final vote on the bill itself is expected to be held later Wednesday.
