
In order to try to widen their content library and attract a younger demographic, fox-owned streaming service tube announced On Wednesday, a new program that brings content from known YouTubers.
The New Creators program features over 500 videos of episode content from six YouTubers, including Rhett and Link’s company, Mythical Entertainment, among others.
In partnership with creators who already have a loyal consequence, Tubi aims to attract fans of their content and improve Tubi’s appeal in an increasingly crowded market. According to a A recent Nielsen reportYouTube rules a streaming audience, accounting for 12.5% of all television watches in May, while Tubi represents only 2.2%. This is a similar move to Peacockwhich trained popular tickets to create original titles for its streaming service.
The contents joining Tubi includes:
- Mythical entertainmentThe popular food interview show, “Last Meals”, hosted by mythical chef Josh Scherer.
- And and riyaThe Canadian duo known for its series “Beverly Valley High.”
- Funnymike With his comedy series “Mr. Creepy Eyes.”
- Jubilee (Jason Y. Lee) will feature several of his video series, including “Odd One Out” and “Ranking.”
- Kinigra deon and her collection of dramatic series “Vampire siblings”, “University Life”, and “The world was not over when I was 16 years old.”
- ObserverHosted by Ryan Bergara, Shane Madej, and Steven Lim, will release episodes of their unwritten series, including “Ghost Files” and “Puppet History.”
Tubi says it will bring more creators and thousands more videos to the platform in the coming weeks.
In the past, Tubi has undertaken initiatives to bring content from emerging talents to his public. For example, the platform recently partnered with Kickstarter to feature Kickstarter-funded films on the platform as well as provide financial support. Last year the Streamer was launched “Stubios“(Yes, with” B “), a program for aspiring filmmakers to send their original content.
