Halliburton’s heroism in this year’s NBA playoffs is incredible, to say the least, as he was shot after winning the Eastern Conference in Indiana.
But, of course, Halliburton didn’t consider anything that made the Pacers keep making it to Game 7 of the final after being injured. He hopes his team will do the job without him, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Co. finally won it all.
“Man. I don’t know how to explain it except shock. Words cannot express the pain of this disappointment. The frustration is incredible. I’ve been working on this moment all my life, is that what it ends? It doesn’t make sense.” Halliburton wrote on X 24 hours after the game.

Halliburton averaged 18.6 points and 9.2 assists per game for the Pacers in 2024-25.
