“Man. I don’t know how to explain it except shock. Words cannot express the pain of this disappointment. The frustration is incredible. I’ve been working on this moment all my life, is that what it ends? It doesn’t make sense.” Halliburton wrote on X 24 hours after the game.
“Now that I’ve started the surgery, I wish I could figure out that people will tell me I’m going to ‘get stronger back’. What a cliché, lol, that’s awful.

Halliburton averaged 18.6 points and 9.2 assists per game for the Pacers in 2024-25.
