A U.S. official told Fox News Title Unit 10 could temporarily detain individuals and transfer them to law enforcement.
“‘Temporary detention’ is different from arrest,” the official said. “The Marines are not allowed to detain any individual using handcuffs or zipper tied. They use their arms to escort them to law enforcement, which will decide what to do with the individual.”
