I like how much it normalizes space travel. It reminds me when all these news came essentially saying that aliens exist on Earth, after years and years and years. Literally the president basically says, “Yes, there are aliens.” And everyone is forgotten. They are on Tiktok again two seconds later. This is the attitude about a spatial journey … It’s not like what you see in normal science fiction movies where it is gravitational to it. With Mickey, it’s just the same old feces. You go from the other side of the universe and you still just got a terrible boss. Everyone treats you like a shit. There is no breath on the other side of the universe. It’s worse.
