In less than a year, the U.S. men’s national football team will participate World Cup As one of the three host countries.
11 of the 16 host stadiums are located in the United States, and the stadium will be held Quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
USMNT did not achieve much success in the World Cup. The team reached 16 rounds in 2010 and 2014, but did not even qualify for the 2018 match. Three years ago, it recovered for 16 rounds, but it was unable to get rid of the América Group stage last year.
After the 1994 World Cup in North America, football has surged in popularity in the United States, and the major league football was born. Now, 32 years later, former USMNT player Taylor Twellman believes that the future of the sport in the United States is everything the U.S. teams do next year’s game.

Twelman is doing Celebrity Golf American Century Championship Next month, he said it was a “dream come true.” He said that more and more professional athlete friends “have asked more questions about football than when I played football, especially in famous charity events.”
“Now, that itself tells you, now, there is suddenly more attention, more awareness, about what success is and what is not, and the level of expectation,” Twillman told Fox News Digital in a recent interview.
“If the men in the United States make it to the quarterfinals of the World Cup, you’re talking about the real cliffs of American football in the United States and North America, really, really, really, really, really at the forefront of everyone.

With the World Cup exactly one year, USMNT Legends says the pressure has increased
“And, it’s not usually talked about that’s the top four major sports in the country. But, everyone looks at the numbers and says baseball in the NHL. Everyone is sweating a little bit of the football around the corner. I think that’s where I think I’ve succeeded in this World Cup, and I think it’s really a turnaround, and if men really have a great game, it’s around the corner.”
Twellman added that if the team does not enter the knockout stage at least, it would be a “big failure”. The last time the United States participated in the World Cup, it was in 2006.

“If they leave the group, it’s a favorable draw, then we might say, ‘You have to go to the quarterfinals as a host country.’ But I think the draw depends on a lot,” he said. “So there’s a lot to say about this. But I do understand the level of urgency. What I’m going to say is that the anxiety of the U.S. men’s national team is in line with the development of the country’s sport.”
