dubois-usyk 2: Different battles?
“I’m a different fighter. He’s 38. He’ll definitely know that,” said Daniel Dubois. Fighting TV About his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk on July 19. “Smart, smart but dangerous destruction. That’s my style. I can’t wait to put it on him.
“This is not the best version of Daniel Dubois,” Dubois lost to Usyk in 2023. “This time, it will be completely different. I will win in the beginning. I can’t deny it now.”
Two years ago, it looked like the same version of Dubois. The difference is that USYK avoided his best shot in the first half of the fight and then kicked some punches in the ninth round to eliminate Daniel.
Usyk does have decent strength when hitting the ball, and once he gets injured, he will fall. We see that in his first battle with Tyson Fury, he stood him on his feet after he reached his left hand over his chin.
Dubois: I will stamp the authority
“If he was going to come back, he would have to face all my belts. It was my top priority. Let all the belts really stamp my authority in this boxing era.” When asked about his thoughts on Tyson Fury, he said he wanted to fight Usyk in a terlology fightology.
Dubois may forget his anger and chooses to fight him when he retires. He had already said to want Usk, he was obviously dangerous and smaller. The last thing is his best, the lowest point of his appearance anger is returning from his brief retirement and being knocked down by Dubois.
The “Gypsy King” is not a belt. So even if Dubois did beat Usyk to become the undisputed champion, Fury wouldn’t be motivated to fight him. He may still want to fight USYK for a third time, and Turki Alalshikh is still likely to fund it.
