Welcome back, Miss Claire Sullivan

Claire Sullivan Want to reintroduce yourself. OK, a little bit. Not that she went anywhere, she created custom looks for Shygirl, Addison Rae, Chloë Sevigny and Clairo last year. Doechii, Sarah Paulson, Rachel Zegler, Kylie Jenner and Troye Sivan all wore Miss Claire Sullivan in magazine editorials. Her latest “collection book” is different from a normal look book: Instead of showing clothes people may buy in the future, it records most of the customization work she has done since 2022, and instead takes it as a piece of work.

“Everything we did was ‘one-time’, so everything here was something I wore for myself, or I did it for the editorial and we just took it back,” Sullivan, 31, told me during her appointment in her bright and airy studio on the bed. “This is a collection of all the works we’ve done so far. We wanted to see bringing Miss Claire together, which I think is exciting because it opens the door for expansion possible.”

Miss Claire Sullivan’s aesthetic is high quality, depicting a lot of volume, and skilled fabrics caress the body, accompanied by sequins or a little shine, to add dramatic drama. She explained: “Someone recently shared with me that witches said that charm is a form of protecting magic and I was like, ‘Oh my god! I really agree.’ “For me, dressing up is really magic and being able to share with others through a custom experience is really, really beautiful. ”

20-looking slideshows showcase many of Sullivan’s most memorable works, including her map dress for Hailey Bieber, in 2022 “Vogue World Promos”– Her first celebrity placement – and ballet pictures Addison Rae Wearing on last year’s VMA, the VMA has been re-identified as top-tier. She believes her two trademark items are tutus made of “angel wings” that she had previously made as part of her Halloween costume and wore lace tights. She added: “(The dress) was one of the first pieces I felt like it could be worn casually; it has since become a staple food.” Other highlights include a short cotton dress for men’s shelter, a corset made of a deconstructed tuxedo jacket, an asymmetrical curtain sequined gown, and her last Halloween Minnie Mouse Costume. What appears is a clear vision of charm and sexiness, and the most important sense of playfulness.
