Despite policy challenges President Donald Trump Kevin Hassett, the White House director of the National Economic Commission, told Fox News Digital on Wednesday that he has no “expectations will be any problem” in the current language in legislation.
“I think what’s going on right now is people are going through footnotes,” Hassett said in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital. “They are arguing about last-minute language.”

“We are making the president’s first tax cut permanent,” Hassett explained. “For overtime, no tax reminder, social security tax, we are ensuring the border, we are building the golden dome. All of this stuff is included in the bill.”

The President himself has worked hard to pass legislation quickly and requires Congress to work to sign the bill into law by July 4.

Sources told Fox that the Senate vote on legislation is likely to take place this Friday. With the president’s July 4 deadline looming, it will return to the House.
