“The View” co-hosts clashed fiercely during Wednesday’s discussion on the Middle East as co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg Comparing life in the United States with life in Iran, it was challenged by Alyssa Farah Griffin.
“Let’s remember that Iranians turn homosexuals out. They don’t have basic human rights,” Griffin said.
The co-host discussed the conflict between Israel and Iran as the battle between the two continued. Co-host Sunshine Sunshine Iran is taking precedence, This move is called illegal under international law. Goldberg pushed back and invoked historic racism from black Americans.
“Let’s not do that, because if we start from that, we know this country tied gay people to cars. It sounds like, sorry, they used to just hang black people all the time.”

“In 2025, in the United States, if I wear this dress now, it wouldn’t be like I stepped into Iran,” Griffin said.
“The same is true,” Goldberg said. “The difference between murdering someone is bad.”
Griffin reiterated her point of view and repeated that living in the United States in 2025 is “completely different” than living in Iran.
“If you’re black, it’s not black, not everyone,” Goldberg insisted.

Goldberg said the United States is the greatest country in the world, but said people are worried about their children being shot.
“No one wants to reduce the very real problems we have in this country. It’s not a person’s intention, but I think it’s important to remember that there are people who are much darker than this country and who deserve the right.”
Goldberg pushed back again, saying, “Not everyone feels that way” and said that the vote was not allowed until 1965.

“They don’t have free and fair elections in Iran. It’s not even the same universe,” Griffin said.
An angry Goldberg once said that she had no way to make her understand her argument.
