William Shipley: Durham attachment tells us about Russian scams

On July 31 and August 1, the New York Times collapsed two stories as it released the “attachment” of its previous classification Report by Special Adviser John Durham The date is May 23, 2023. However, the authors – Charlie Savage and Adam Goldman – misled the reader’s attention from the beginning and, on a literal false title, claimed that Durham found some of the documents “forged” by Russian intelligence in the attachment.

This is the foundation of Time, The Washington Post, Politics, Network News and other old media, myopia focused their coverage on the FBI Hurricane Investigation on Fire Exchange President Trump – We know this is a “forgery” by the FBI, the CIA and Obama’s White House.

Part of Durham’s investigation examines the FBI’s first Russian intelligence information after it first received Russian intelligence information in late July 2016, in contrast to the FBI’s response to information received from Australian diplomats about meetings held in London pubs.

The annex includes classified information about “special intelligence” that was previously received from friendly foreign governments, indicating that Russia appears to be aware of Hillary Clinton’s inherent conspiracy in 2016 presidential campaign.

This attachment is a document written by the Durham team. The accuracy of the interpretation/reference to the source documents of the Russian memorandum is not clear as the source documents of the Russian memorandum are not provided (or at least not disclosed). All of these qualifiers are used for the work of “analysis” – what is the document, where it originates, what it says, what it depends on, can it be confirmed separately, how much confidence is we have in accepting content as accurate face value, etc.?

“Email” written by Leonard Bernardo is said to be the two projects that have attracted the most attention and focus of the story of the times, dated July 25, 2016 and July 27, 2016. Bernardo works for entities related to George Soros. His email was hacked and he communicated with senior Clinton campaign officials.

The attachment doesn’t have an actual “email” because you might find them on Bernardo’s computer or on the recipient’s computer – they don’t have a typical email format. They appear to be the “replay” version of the text version in the body of the email to the Russian language memorandum, which was translated into English, and Durham translated English to his report.

The July 25 “email” included Hillary Clinton’s approval of a plan conceived by a “foreign policy adviser” to “virify” then-Donald Trump, linking him to Russia’s Pres by falsely. Putin.

As for the Russian language memorandum – we don’t know the date – Durham provides an English translation including the following:

According to data from Hillary Clinton’s election campaign headquarters obtained on July 26, 2016 through the Soros Foundation in the United States, Clinton approved a plan by her policy adviser Juliana Smith… to benefit Republican candidates from Russian special services by amplifying scandals related to Russian special services. ”

The Russian memorandum goes on to say: “As Smith envisioned….” This suggests that in the documents supporting the memorandum, perhaps in the description of the details that Smith himself or others are familiar with to describe Smith’s plan.

“As Smith envisioned, raising the theme of ‘Putin’s support for Trump’ to the level of the Olympic scandal will shift voters’ attention to an investigation into Clinton’s compromised electronic letters.”

Russia’s memorandum must be written after July 27, as it published its contents from the July 27 email, which describes exactly what will happen after the next 100 days before the end of the election – establishing “Putin’s support for Trump” is the goal of what is called the “plan”.

The Russian memorandum continues:

“…then directed public opinion toward the need to equate the concept of ‘Putin’s efforts’ to influence the American political process through cyberspace to oppose vital vital infrastructure (similar to the National Power Supply Network) would force the White House (read “obama”) to use more exchange programs to leverage more exchange programs.

The memo said the Clinton campaign would attempt to blow up the meaning of Russian election intervention (in every election), by equating it with an attack on important national infrastructure and linking Putin and Trump in their efforts that any election intervention by Putin is indeed a proxy for Trump’s attack on democracy.

Either the Russian intelligence service is clairvoyant and should play the lottery weekly, or they are caught in a series of exchanges between people associated with the Clinton campaign that accurately describes the game plan executed by the campaign, White House, CIA and FBI representatives.

The July 27 email about Bernardo was also relatively short, as Durham said what the verbatim text obtained from the Russian Memorandum, which confirmed Clinton approved “Julia’s idea.”

The Times authors falsely reported that Durham called the two Bernardo emails “fake” and said they were “confiscated” by Russian intelligence personnel. Therefore, according to the Times, all disputes surrounding the release of attachment materials are irrelevant to the discovery.

But Durham didn’t come to the conclusion that the emails were fake. What conclusion did he make?

His team’s “best evaluation” is that they are “composites” – a portion of each text is taken from other sources and merged into texts that appear in “emails” appearing under the name of Bernardo.

Obviously, Bernardo did not write them, i.e., they were not “real.”

But it is also obvious that something in each content is accurate – the predicted event will unfold within the next 100 days.

Durham came to the conclusion only after a long and involved process designed to understand the content of an email and how much it is in special intelligence is accurate.

Everything – I mean everything – Durham answers these questions is something the FBI has chosen not to do in August 2016 or after.

Durham asked intelligence analysts – presumably the FBI and the CIA – whether it looked real. Most people say they did. Some point out that Bernardo is actually a victim of Russian hackers, so it wouldn’t be surprising if his emails were in the hands of Russians. Some point out that the Russians could have fabricated or changed the original information obtained from the source files.

It’s just that some analysts think that these emails seem to be real and should be enough to push the FBI. But it did nothing.

Durham interviewed Bernardo and showed him the email. The FBI never did. Bernardo said he didn’t know them, and there were languages he wouldn’t use – especially “later, the FBI would pour more oil into the fire.”

Translating intelligence from foreign languages is tricky. Bernardo denies using the phrase, but is the distance from the more commonly used phrase for English females to “pour the air on the fire”? Bernardo’s original document was originally in English – and then translated into Russian – and then translated back to English. This is how “gas enters fire”, and ultimately “oil is the fire”.

Bernardo also said he didn’t know who “Julie” mentioned in the July 25 email.

But he pointed out that the last sentence in the July 25 email – “Things are terrible to U.S.-Russia relations” is what he is going to write.

Durham collected summons and search warrants from grand juries. He searched for documents obtained by Russian hackers. As for the July 25 and July 27 emails, Durham did not find these emails in the Soros Foundation emails.

But he found other emails, whether they were emails sent by someone other than Bernardo or attachments), in the same language as Bernardo. Specifically, a passage from the July 25 email was taken directly from an email written by Tim Mauer, who worked as a network expert at Carnegie Endowment. Maul had never seen Bernardo’s email, but agreed, he took a paragraph from an email he sent to his colleague Carnegie, which was also invaded by the Russians.

Durham also interviewed Julianne Smith, who was running for foreign policy adviser for Clinton, who did participate in his efforts to expand Putin-Trump’s threat to U.S. national security.

It is worth noting that Durham starts this part, as follows:

“Smith said she didn’t particularly remember to propose plans for Clinton or other campaign leaders trying to connect Trump with Putin and Russia.”

This wording is never accidental – “no specific remembering”, if the document appears later, which means something you claim to not remember, leaving a lot of room for liberation. The agent is trained to pay attention to such phrases as the person being interviewed.

Smith did say that it was “probable” that she brought up ideas for campaign leadership, “probably those ideas have been approved.” Again – Durham showed her an email about the “Clinton Project” she hatched, and she couldn’t be sure of other documents he might have, but he didn’t show it to her.

While she doesn’t remember much about anything, one thing she is sure of is that she will never make a proposal, part of her execution, namely the FBI’s involvement to facilitate efforts.

Before Durham, the FBI did not do this – never provided an explanation for why.
