this WNBA The remaining eight starters for the 2025 All-Star Game were announced after revealing Indiana boom star Caitlin Clark and Minnesota Lynx leader Napheesa Collier will be captains this year.
When viewing the total score after the voting process, Clark’s location Her peers seem surprising.
The WNBA All-Star Process has three voting groups: fan rankings, media rankings and players of players and frontcourt players. Clark received fan votes for the first time and ranked third in the media, but her WNBA player ranked ninth among defenders.

Clark ranked second among all players, mainly because fans voted 50% of the vote to determine the starter. But this is Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers, the No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft earlier this year, finishing second in fans, fifth in media, fourth in players and fourth in players.
this Atlanta DreamAllisha Gray, one of the WNBA All-Star starters, finished No. 1 in media rankings and player rankings, while Seattle’s Skylar Diggins, New York’s Sabrina Ionescu and Natasha Cloud, Washington’s Brittney Sykes, Brittney Sykes, and Clark’s top players on Clark.
Perhaps the main reason why Clark’s peers are so low among the defenders is due to only nine of the 16 games this season’s fever. Clark has been dealing with injuries during her sophomore season, which continues as she missed her last two games.
Clark has also been struggling lately, with only 13 points in 47 of the three-point territory in the last three games.
Still, Clark averaged 33.3 minutes per game this season, 8.9 assists, 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals. Only Mercury, Phoenix, Alyssa Thomas is probably one of the league’s head coach’s 12 All-Star game reserves and announced this Sunday that they had more assists (9.3), and she moved the hardwood in 12 games this season.
Clark received 1,293,526 votes from fans.

Clark has been an integral part of the WNBA popularity since breaking rookie and league records since he got a fever last season, but there are many controversial moments in the game against his opponents.
This season, there was a physical dispute with the Connecticut Sun, and in the Connecticut sunshine, Clark was hit and pushed to the ground in the game. Later in the game, Clark’s teammate Sophie Cunningham retaliated against Suns guard Jacy Sheldon in another melee that led to the catapult.
Clark, of course, is behind the examples targeting the Sun, Chicago Sky, etc., and is the center of the national sports dialogue.
But Clark and Collier will be the players that attract the All-Star roster, and now they know who will start at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse at Clark’s Fever Home on July 19.
