Legendary New York Yankees pitcher Mariano Rivera reportedly New York Daily News.
Guy Former Yankees Pitcher Pitcher Rodger Clemens revealed his injury for the first time in an interview on the Yankees’ WFAN broadcast.
“It’s been a fun day until we just heard about Mariano. Mariano hurt his Achilles,” Clemens said. “I think he’s in the hospital right now.”

Rivera produced one of the highlights from Saturday’s Old Friends Day match when he hit the ball and hit former teammate and companion Yankee legend Andy Pettite.
Saturday’s Friends Day commemoration Yankees’ 2000 World Series Defeat the New York Mets ruling rival. Rivera, Clemens and Pettite are all key players in that team.
Rivera became the first and only player to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019 to unanimously elect the Baseball Hall of Fame.

“President Trump, he is my friend,” Rivera said on WABC Radio “Sid and friends.” “I can’t deny it. I’ll tell anyone. He was my friend before he was president. So I’ll vote for him.”

Trump awarded Rivera the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2019. Trump was a Yankees fan and praised Rivera as “perhaps the greatest pitcher of all time.”
