UPDATE 1/26/25 4:05 pm ET Aaron Judge confirmed that his wife, Samantha Bracksieck, pregnant while accepting his 2024 AL MVP Award.

“I want to start by apologizing for missing the award dinner tonight,” Judge said in a prerecorded video message. “However, my wife, Samantha, and I are expecting our first child any day now and unfortunately we are not expecting it.”

Superstar of the New York Yankees Aaron Judge is reportedly preparing for fatherhood.

Page Six the news on Thursday, December 26, that the 32-year-old outfielder and his wife, Samantha Bracksieckare expecting their first child — a girl. The couple, who are famously private, have yet to confirm the news themselves. (We are every week (reached representatives of Judge and the Yankees for comment.)

Judge and Bracksieck began dating while attending Linden High School in California. Judge graduated in 2010 and began his journey to the big leagues. It was reported that the athlete also got together with Bracksieck in 2019, taking their relationship to the next level.

While they have yet to make any official announcement of the proposal, the couple sparked engagement rumors when Bracksieck was spotted wearing a ring on her finger in 2021. They tied the knot during a quiet ceremony in Hawaii in December of that year.

Yankees fans began speculating that Judge was preparing for the next chapter of his life this past October. Eagle-eyed baseball spectators snapped photos of Bracksieck sporting what appeared to be a baby bump while in attendance the American League Championship Series. At the time, Bracksieck appeared to join Judge on the field after the Yankees beat the Cleveland Guardians, according to photos shared by X (but since removed).

While Judge and Bracksieck rarely talk about each other in public, the duo makes rare appearances together.

“What a time we went out to LA for the All Star break! Can’t thank the Yankee fans and all the fans out there for their support and making this one of the best years yet! Time to get moving in the 2nd half!” The judge captioned a July 2022 Instagram postoffers a look at his relationship.

The MLB star also said in an interview in 2022 that his wife had a hand in helping him get a $360 million contract with the Yankees in the same year.

“I’m in California. Sam and I are headed to Hawaii to celebrate our (wedding) anniversary. Our flight was at 8 am, so at 2 in the morning, at 3, we just stayed up,” Judge recalled during an interview with Podcast “Casa De Klub”. this past July. “We went back and forth about different offers from different teams. What do you want to do? And I told him, ‘I want to stay in New York. I don’t want to go anywhere else.'”

Bracksieck urged Judge to call the Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner.

“We called him and I just put it out there, like, ‘Hey, I don’t want to go anywhere. This is what I want if you can add another year to the deal. I’m set. I’m not looking for more else, I want one more year. I want to play this game for a long time,'” Judge recalled., The athlete then learned that he would be named the 16th captain of the Yankees.
