Kelce admitted before the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills that he wanted to be Josh Allen’s quarterback.

“Josh is a guy I once dreamed of being in the NFL,” he told reporters. “Big, athletic quarterback. Big arm. Guy who can be a dual-threat.

“His ability to do everything – you could say, he really put the bull on the horn and became their leader and brought it up. Guys were in and out of the building and he was the main guy that got them going, I There’s a lot of respect for that guy.”

Kelce has the opportunity to play football three times at a time during the regular season and playoffs. He passed in clutch play in the postseason, throwing a touchdown pass in a 2021 postseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Allen, a 6-foot-5, 237-pound gunner, has emerged as one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks and is competing for his first career NFL MVP award.

He has been the face of the Bills since he took over the starting job. He has 3,731 passing yards and 28 touchdown passes this season. He also ran for 531 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.
