Beijing (Reuters) – China’s not -manufacturing activity in January, however, grew at a slower pace than in December, as an official survey on Monday showed, which indicates that political decision -makers have to introduce even more stimulus measures to support depressive domestic demand.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the official non-manufacturing purchase manager index (PMI), which includes services and construction work, fell from 52.2 in December to 50.2. The 50-point mark separates the expansion from the contraction of activity monthly.
The NBS Composite PMI, which includes production and services, reached 50.1 compared to 52.2 in January.
