Miller’s family said he was on his way from Wichita to the District of Columbia to work in Rochester, New York.

“When his mother got off at Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport in Wichita, he said he wanted to make sure he got home in time to watch the Chiefs play in the Super Bowl,” Posted The newspaper continued. “He even bought a ticket for his brother Jon to fly from Arizona to Kansas so they can all watch the game with mom and dad at home.”
Not long before departure, Miller’s family said he texted the boss and spoke to a friend, describing the celebrations of the crew and companion passengers because it was the last flight of the day.
Miller also mentioned “how cool we are on the boat with Russian figure skaters,” wrote Audra Rogers, a close family friend, on the “Salutes” page.
“He looks forward to the Super Bowl-based Chief Kansas City. Now his extended family plans to gather with friends, classmates, colleagues and community members to celebrate his life and ask everyone who wants to respect Dustin for his honor Help the Chief come on.”
Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday’s Super Bowl. The kickoff time is 6:30 PM ET, Caesar Superman in New Orleans and Fox.

Miller’s boss Jack Herklotz also added a tribute, calling Miller “a friend and good guy who happens to be a great IT guy.”
