
ksubi and Montola are two labels that run on the cornerstone of cultural eraists. Australian denim dressmakers and Nigerian-born London designers are abiding by the times and trends of youth culture, and each insists on undermining these trends in their own unique ways.
That being said, it makes sense that these two labels have been linked to the debut collaboration, which bridges the boundary landscape vision of each brand. The pair leaned towards the Y2K style, offering numerous Gen-Z-style outfits, in a blunt 2000 campaign shot by Jessica Mae Propper and by a lineup of up-and-coming rappers, Suki Baby: Ski waterStrawberry, Chloe Spence, Izzy Spears and Khadi.
Grugged Los Angeles-style visuals are made with a young tastemaker in a compilation of new subversive styles of capsules. There is a painful distress next to the custom cheetah print pattern and the new denim style that is close to you, as well as an amazing Dubin pattern surface – one of which is a contemporary reimagining as a contemporary reimagining Ksubi’s ultra-low Jean from the early 2000s.
