“Tom and I always said we wanted four, but life had other plans,” Kelsey, 34, told the UK’s The Mirror in an interview published on Sunday, January 26. “So yes, it’s amazing but also bittersweet. The joy of finding out I was pregnant and moving on with my life, while thinking, ‘My life would be so different.’ I feel every emotion under the sun.”
Kelsey was married to Tom, best known as one of the members of the boy band The Wanted, until his death in 2022. Tom, who was 33 years old at the time, was suffering from an inoperable brain tumor. He is survived by Kelsey and their two children: Aurelia, 5, and Bodhi, 4.
After grieving over Tom’s death, Kelsey eventually found love again with tree surgeon Lindsay, 27, last year. They currently live in his family home with the late singer.

“Tom and I had a house before, where we had children and got married. We moved to my current house in September 2021, and Tom has only been in this place for eight months, but I feel that he chose it for me,” he told the British outlet. “Will gradually moved on. There was no specific date, but he moved when it was convenient for all of us. At the moment, we have no plans to move elsewhere and we are making this our home.”
Kelsey even mentioned him current pregnancy as a “happy accident” and noted that he and Lindsay don’t know the baby’s gender yet.
“We haven’t decided if we’re going to look at (the sex-disclosure document). We’ll see how the journey goes,” he said, adding that he believed Tom had sent his consent from the front. ” I’m very spiritual and so is Will. Especially after his dad died, he believed in signs from loved ones — and I saw a lot from Tom. He didn’t think he was crazy me.”
According to Kelsey, she and Lindsay always talk about Tom at home. Daughter Aurelia even floated the name “Parker” as a tribute to her father.

“For me, I feel that everything has to happen. I’m just trying to find happiness,” said Kelsey. “I love my children — they get me through the worst times. So it’s like I’ve been blessed with something else. If I think about everything that happened, I wouldn’t be here. Tom is my soulmate. I’m still upset that he’s gone. But I can’t live in sadness. Tom doesn’t want that.”
Kelsey also informed Tom’s mother, Noreenabout her pregnancy news.
“Tom’s mom immediately gave me her blessing,” Kelsey added. “She can’t wait to have another grandchild. All I care about is that our family and Tom’s family are happy. Noreen is the most amazing woman. After Tom passed, he said to me, ‘As long as you’re happy Kels, whatever you do, we’ll support you and be happy for you.’ We’ve been through so much together.”
