THIS: And you say, “How did we get here? How are we in the middle of nowhere in Kenya ‘Like a Virgin?’
BS: And so it was… But he took this initiative and things like that. It is an experience shared with your children, who begin to truly experience life and you see it through their eyes.
THIS: I mentioned it at the beginning, and I want to press on, although I know we don’t have time, is that trip to Antarctica that you talked about on the trip, just the high-level take, why was it so memorable?
BS: It was terrible, and it was very cold. I’ve never been colder in my life and I realized I was claustrophobic, and yet seeing these icebergs and glaciers and being somewhere for 20 to 23 hours a day was dark, the most magnificent sight that was far away. the sensitivity And I realized I didn’t want to do it again, but I’m so glad I witnessed it. It stuck with me not only because I feel so lucky to live in a civilization where I have access to what I have, but because it made me appreciate the beauty of blue ice, it’s so pure, it’s blue.
THIS: The book will be released in mid-January. Will the audience be able to catch you on a book tour? Are there audio books? Are you reading the audiobook?
BS: There is an audiobook, I just completed the audiobook.
THIS: wonderful Brooke, I have to mention that when we were talking when you were famously spotted on the streets of New York, we sat next to each other at Clam in the West Village many years ago. And the reason it’s so memorable to me is that it was late at night, at least I had quite a bit to drink and we both had black bags and we grabbed each other’s bags and took each other’s bags. they were going
BS: I remember at The Clam, they make really good margaritas and that… Wait, when did we realize we had the wrong bag?
THIS: This was like… Oh my God, it was probably 2015.
BS: No, I mean, I don’t think I came home with the wrong bag.

BS: Yes, we were sitting at the bar then.
